The course is about...
Over the years of playing and recording for various bands, artists, and projects, I’ve learned a lot — from what to play, what not to play, and everything in between. My goal for this course is to provide as much insight as possible into what best serves the music, the artist, and the project, with the hope that it helps you at some point behind the kit. I hope this peek behind the curtain and a glimpse into my thought process helps you create parts with ease and become the drummer you are in your head. And I also hope it makes you smile along the way.

For no other reason than I want to give you all my time throughout the course and after. This course / docuseries includes a mixture of fly-on-the-wall footage and breakdown videos of me tracking songs i know and songs i don't. One of the tracks is a Busted song i've never heard before, with Charlie Simpson tracking me. You'll see, from start to finish, what the session looked like, what i play, why i play it, and Charlies thoughts and reasons for certain musical choices. I will also show you how i create, write and record parts without having a producer or the artist present, using a royalty-free track, and explain why you should do the same.
